How It All Started

How Purpose of Care Started

It all began with a nurturing mother. My mother was the primary caregiver for most of my childhood. She cared for my father, who passed away from sickle cell disease when I was nine years old. She remarried after my father passed, and her second husband had cancer and later died.

My experience in caregiving for others began with helping my mother with my younger brother, who has cerebral palsy. This is where I understood the power of caring for others in need.

The reality is that caring for others can be challenging. Sometimes families cannot be the primary caregiver. This is when home care services are needed. I founded Purpose of Care for families looking for the right type of in-home care services for their loved ones. Our personalized “caring approach” is the essence of our company.

We believe that everyone deserves to be nurtured and cared for like family. Our community of caregivers serves others with a caring heart and provides the highest quality of home care services so that clients and their families have peace of mind.
